Dr. Sophocles Voyazis DDS MSc
Prosthodontics- Implantology
Dr. Sophocles Voyiazis is a prosthodontist with other 10 years experience in implant-related surgical and restorative procedures. His dental clinic is based in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Fascinated by the dentistry field as a young boy, his decision to become a dentist came at an early age.
He was awarded a Greek state scholarship (IKY) and graduated from the University of Athens (Greece) in 2001. He received his prosthodontics specialty certificate and an
MSc in Oral Biology from the Baylor College of Dentistry (Dallas, Texas) in 2004. Between 2005 and 2006, he was an ITI Scholar under his mentor Prof. Belser at the University of Geneva, who is considered one of the most acknowledged in the field of aesthetics and implants.
Dr. Voyiazis is a proud member of the most established organisations in implant dentistry:
- The European Association of Osseointegration: member (since 2019)
- The Academy of Osseointegration (USA): active member (since 2002)
- International Team for Implantology (ITI): fellow (since 2007)
and part of Leadership team for the Greece and Cyprus Section (2009-2016).
