Dr. Sophocles Voyazis DDS MSc
Prosthodontics- Implantology
Dr. Sophocles Voyiazis is a prosthodontist with other 10 years experience in implant-related surgical and restorative procedures. His dental clinic is based in Nicosia, Cyprus.
Fascinated by the dentistry field as a young boy, his decision to become a dentist came at an early age.
He was awarded a Greek state scholarship (IKY) and graduated from the University of Athens (Greece) in 2001.
He received his prosthodontics specialty certificate and an MSc in Oral Biology from the Baylor College of Dentistry (Dallas, Texas) in 2004.
Between 2005 and 2006, he was an ITI Scholar under his mentor Prof. Belser at the University of Geneva, who is considered one of the most acknowledged in the field of aesthetics and implants.
Mrs Alexandra Andrea Zivanas
Clinic Manager, customer care
Alexandra joined the practice in April 2015.
She came from a totally different work environment, having been an air-hostess for 20 years.
Her long experience in customer care and service has been an asset in her position as receptionist and dental nurse with the practice.
First aid annual recurrent training and CRM annual recurrent training where legal requirements in her former job.
CRM is a course teaching skills in effective communication and teamwork skills, essential to positions working closely with both customers and co-workers.
She is a native English and Greek speaker.
Mrs Elisabetta Del Grosso
Dental Hygienist
Elisabetta (aka Bettina) has been with the practice since 2008.
She has extensive experience in the dental care field as a dental nurse in France, Italy and the Uk, and then as a hygienist.
She acquired a diploma in Dental Hygiene at Guy’s Dental Hospital and was awarded the Claudius Ash and Dental Hygienists’ Association Tutors’ Prize for showing consistently high standards throughout the course and final examination.
She then worked at Guy’s Hospital Periodontal Department before moving to Cyprus.
She is a native speaker in both Italian and French and speaks English and Greek fluently too.
Ms Christina Tsarmantidou
Dental Assistant
Christina is the newest member of our staff, having joined the practice in August of 2017.
She graduated from the European University course for Dental Assistants, achieving the highest grades in her academic year.
Her work experience in the field includes working in an endodontics practice while studying.
She is a native Russian and Greek speaker.
